Using Tracker ModeKawalo Tracker Mode feature is the way you monitor others using realtime GPS location.
To use Tracker Mode, You need Android smartphone with Kawalo installed. With this approach you will send and receive anybody who is in the group. Tracker Mode is two way communications. You can receive GPS update when you also share your GPS position.
Personal Tracker Mode, Goto Chat Tabs or goto People tab, touch a user to enter Chat display. | touch top right menu | select Tracker Mode | make sure your GPS is activated | click on Track Mode |
Now your Tracker Mode is ON. The user you selected will receive your location when he/she also activating his/her Tracker Mode.
For Group Tracker Mode, it is very much the same, goto chat display and activate it. You will receive other member's GPS Location in group if they share their GPS location and you also share yours.
Once activated, The App will always send your current location and receive others until you logout/exit. When Tracker Mode active, you will see red button in the right bottom of your display. Touch this button to stop or show the map.
With this GPS mode, You must equip John with Android device. For a kid that should not use smartphone yet, you can use Kawalo Strict Locked version. If you want it, drop an email or chat in the support group to request download link.
